Anai Padilla, El Paso Water Conservation and TecH2O Manager
For the past 20 years, Anai Padilla has led conservation programs at El Paso Water and is responsible for effectively coordinating the implementing the Public Service Board's Water Conservation Plan. She has developed and implemented various conservation programs, including rebates and incentives, educational outreach and enforcement of conservation-related city ordinances.
She oversees operations and management of the Carlos M. Ramirez TecH2O Water Resources Learning Center, aimed at providing a venue for education programs to foster an understanding and appreciation of total water management in the Chihuahuan Desert. The Center hosts a wide variety of programs that attract teachers, students, water researchers, Utility employees, customers, and other regional visitors
Padilla has a B.S. in Horticulture from New Mexico State University and a Masters' Degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
Norma Guzman-Kennedy, Water Conservation Specialist
Norma Guzman-Kennedy leads conservation outreach programs at the TecH2O Center, including TecH2O's Certified Water Partner program and the TecH2O WaterSmart Workshop. Since she started at the Center in 2012, she has served as both a Water Conservation Technician and as a Specialist and has had an influential role in shaping various education programs and conservation programs. She has a B.A. in Business Management from Park University.
